Hornsea Mere

Parking is available at Kirkholme Point and offers good views over the mere though it can be busy at weekends. The site is private and access is only available during the day, closing time is normally posted at the gate.

A footpath runs along the southern edge of the Mere from where good views can be had. The path continues around along side the woodland and comes out onto the B1244 where it is possible to park along the short lane. All land around the Mere is private with the footpath being the only right of way.
