Submitting Records
Single
Observer Records
The observer should provide a full description.
Multi-observer
Records
Records involving more than one
observer MAY not always require a full description; this will depend
on the circumstance surrounding the sighting and will be at the
discretion of the Records Committee.
Long-staying Individuals
Records involving long-staying
individuals (E.G. 4 days or more) are invariably seen by many
observers and will not require a full description. In such cases
brief details will NORMALLY suffice i.e. age, sex, behaviour,
location etc.
Ultimately the need for a
description is at the discretion of the Records Committee. The rule
"No Description, No Record" will continue to apply.

previous year may not be included in the annual report. Records
