Allerthorpe Common - Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve is a small but superb example of lowland heath in the vale of York, supporting an impressive range of heathland wildlife. It is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Barnsley Naturalist and Scientific Society - A small group of individuals who share a common interest in the natural world generally and in the natural history of the Barnsley area in particular.

Birds and Fauna of Swaledale - A simple noticeboard of recent sightings of fauna (especially birds) around Swaledale and its Moors.

Bradford Ornithological Group - A website of interest to all birders in the Bradford area.

Brockadale Nature Reserve - Brockadale is a Nature Reserve of the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and lies between the villages of Wentbridge and the Smeatons just to the east of the A1, 10 miles north of Doncaster.

Butterfly Conservation - Yorkshire Branch - This Web Site has been set up to publicise some of the efforts of the Yorkshire Branch of Butterfly Conservation in Yorkshire and its activities and as a resource for members and non-members.

Craven Conservation Group - This group exists as a local forum for anyone interested in countryside conservation in it's widest sense, especially in wildlife conservation in the North Craven area of Yorkshire.

Doncaster and District Ornithological Society - The Doncaster and District Ornithological Society
(otherwise known as "DODOS") is an organisation ran in Doncaster. The DDOS is an organisation dedicated to studying, documenting and conserving Doncaster's wild birds.

Dragonflies in East Yorkshire - Purpose, to encourage interest in local Odonata, map their distribution, identify important sites in the county.

East Dales Ringing Group - Local group based in the North Yorkshire Dales area.

East Yorkshire Birders - A small sociable  group of people interested in all aspects of natural history, particularly  bird watching.

East Yorkshire Fungus Group - The aim of the group is to record fungi growing in the East Yorkshire region and promote interest in fungi in general.

East Yorkshire Ringing Group - Information on this local ringing group though site not yet fully developed.

Esholt Sewage Works - Broadleaf woodland, running and still water, grazing and managed fields and the old settling beds can all be found at Esholt as well as the welcoming effluent tanks and filter beds.  A large array of flora and fauna abound within the now protected boundaries of Esholt sewage works.

Filey Brigg Ornithological Group - Details the activities of the Group with a round up of recent sightings and records from the Filey recording area.

Filey Dams - Filey Dams is the last remaining freshwater marsh of any size in the region.  It covers about 6 hectares, and is leased by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust Office from Scarborough Borough Council.

Flamborough Ornithological Group - F.O.G. was founded in 1972 by a small number of enthusiastic birdwatchers whose aims were to fully document the migrant land and sea birds and collect breeding information on the birds of the Headland.

Harrogate and District Badger Group - As a group we are dedicated to the protection of one of Britain's most intriguing and beautiful animals. Sadly they are also one of the most persecuted.

Harrogate and District Naturalists` Society - The Society was formed in 1947 as the Harrogate & District Naturalist & Scientific Society, the present title being adopted in 1958. Its aim is to promote the study and enjoyment of wildlife in all its forms and to disseminate the knowledge of natural history. The Society takes an active and practical interest in the conservation of wildlife resources and supports efforts to safeguard the natural diversity of species.

Huddleston & Jackson Bird Ringing Partnership - This Web Site has been created to pass on information from the Huddleston & Jackson Bird Ringing (Banding) Partnership that operates in the York area of the UK.

Hull Biodiversity Partnership - This group was established in 2000 with the intention of producing and implementing a Local Biodiversity Action Plan (LBAP) for the city of Kingston upon Hull. The final draft of the Hull Biodiversity Action Plan is now complete.  The habitat action plans, species plans, maps & appendices may now be viewed & downloaded from this site..

Knaresborough Wildlife - Local site detailing the wildlife to be found in and around Knaresborough.

Mid-Yorkshire Fungus Group - We're a small and friendly group. Some of us are beginners at fungi, some are very experienced and many are in between.

North Cave Wetlands - Information on this newly developed Yorkshire Wildlife Trust Reserve.

North Yorkshire Bat Group - North Yorkshire Bat Group is a group of enthusiasts interested in conserving bats in the county and in teaching others about these interesting and intelligent mammals.

Potteric Carr Nature Reserve - Potteric Carr is one of over sixty reserves owned or leased by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. It is situated about 2 miles from the centre of Doncaster, close to the M18 and A6182.

Puffins at Flamborough - This site has a summary of what wildlife can be expected through each month of the year.

Rotherham Urban Wildlife Group - Although the Rotherham Borough is quite heavily populated there are parts rich in wildlife and a walk not far from home can be quite rewarding. If you live in Rotherham and would like somewhere to walk with a wildlife flavour you may find some ideas in these pages.

RSPB Craven and Pendle Members` Group - Whether a member of the RSPB or not, you are warmly invited to come along to our local Members' Group. We aim to further the work of the RSPB, increase your enjoyment of birds and provide a local focus for local Craven and Pendle birders.

RSPB East Yorkshire Members Group - The Group was founded in 1986, runs Seabird Cruises every summer from Bridlington, helps out at RSPB and other conservation events and holds Field Trips every month except August and Indoor Meetings throughout the winter.

RSPB Leeds Local Group - The RSPB Leeds Local Group is one of a national network of local groups covering the length and breadth of Britain. The Leeds Group area covers all Leeds Post Code districts.

RSPB Sheffield Local Group - This web site provides information for members and anyone who is interested in the work of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and the Sheffield Members Group.

RSPB York Members Group - Aims to provide information for members and for anyone who is interested the work of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, particularly in the York area in England.

Ryedale Natural History Society - The Society was formed on 2nd December 1963 and is based on the administrative district of Ryedale.

Scarborough Field Naturalists' Society - Promoting an interest in, and the recording of, natural history (wildlife, plants, animals and geology) in the Scarborough area.

Sheffield Bird Study Group - The Sheffield bird Study Group is the leading ornithological society in the city and has been active in and around Sheffield since 1972. Its activities aim to satisfy the interests of all those concerned with local ornithology.

Sheffield Wildlife Action Partnership - Sheffield Wildlife Action have management responsibility for five nature reserves in the Sheffield area.
