Holderness Countryside Society - This
Society is the leading conservation group in East Yorkshire with
almost 400 subscribing members. It manages 8 nature reserves for free
public access and is in the process of developing several more.

Yorkshire Badger Group - The
SYBG was formed over Ten years ago by volunteers dedicated to the
protection and conservation of the British Badger within the area of
South Yorkshire in the United Kingdom. The group is actively engaged
in sett protection, fund raising and the welfare of Badgers.
Spurn
Point - Spurn
Point a very unique place in England. Situated on the North bank of
the entrance to the River Humber. A beautiful place for bird
watching, sea fishing, walking or just a day out with the family.
Stockbridge
Nature Reserve - Stockbridge
Nature Reserve was the first area to be acquired by Bradford
Ornithological Group. It is a wetland site in the valley bottom,
adjacent to the River Aire and has a large scrape and two smaller ponds.
The
Institute of Estuarine and Coastal Studies (IECS) - A
multi-disciplinary research and consultancy organisation set up to
utilise the facilities and expertise in coastal science and
management within the University of Hull. IECS covers a wide range of
specialisms within the coastal environment ranging from the
biological and physical environments (topography, vegetation,
ornithology, benthic and pelagic fauna) to coastal planning,
environmental quality, marine law and environmental impact assessment.
